The design studio is not working

Sometimes as with any online website, you may experience issues with our website not responding. This could be because of your WIFI or internet being slow therefore not being able to load any web page which will usually end in your designs not saving to your account correctly. This could also be because of the software on the device that you are using. We would like to remind our customers to save your design after every page that you complete to reduce the risk of losing any of your artwork if there are network issues.

There are key factors which could cause the design studio software not to load or continue to show the loading icon. These are usually due to an Anti-Virus or Firewall rule which is blocking our software. The first step to testing this is to disable your anti-virus or firewall software to check whether the connection will then work. If this then loads the page, you know that this will need to be disabled for you to work on our website. If this does not work then there are a few things to notice, listed below.

Try an alternative browser:

Our software is memory intensive and sometimes if your laptop or computer is older and does not have enough memory, our website may get blocked at your side because your computer is trying to manage its storage capacity. Using a different browser may help with loading the page – we recommend you use Google Chrome as this is what we used to develop our system! Please make sure that whichever browser that you are using is correctly configured and is up to date.

Mac OS – Safari:

Older versions of Mac OS and Safari will need updating to ensure that they are running to the latest OS and safari software. Memory could be an issue as Safari needs to allocate a lot of its memory to opening a new software like ours, we would recommend trying an alternative browser. As with any browser that you are using, check that it is configured correctly and is the most up to date version!

JavaScript:

Our software relies heavily on Java scripting and flex technology. You can do some checks to see if you are running the latest version of JavaScript on your computer by handling connections with Java Script. Our site is 100% secure with an SSL certification so rest assured, your connection with us is safe!

Other types of protection:

Most AV/FW software allows the service to load however there are a few which do not allow this. We are following the process to get this fixed, however this is not always possible for everyone’s computer. Some examples of this include AVG, Norton and Bit Defender. These may limit the function of our website however there will be ways in which you can look at creating a rule or exception with the software to view our website.
