What is a 'Print Ready File' & how do I send it to you?

We get asked a lot what we mean by a ‘Print Ready File’, and it basically means that you have already designed your product in an alternative platform, and you do not need to use our online studio to design! Please note that We require you to send us your files as PDF documents as this is the only suitable option for us to upload to our systems with.

There are 2 ways in which you can send files to us which are listed below:

When you go to our product option page and have chosen your desired product, you will then be redirected to the price calculator page which looks like this:

You will then need to select the ‘Order Now / Start Your Designs’ button which you will then get a pop up button looking like this:

You then need to choose ‘Upload A Print Ready PDF File’.

You will then see this page below which allows you to upload your artwork onto our website. This gives you the option to either upload a file from your desktop or you can drag and drop it into the box with the cloud from your computer files. If you have multiple files to upload, you can add these using the pink + button. Please make sure you give your files clear and appropriate names.

Alternatively, you can send us your files using the We Transfer platform. This can be found on this same page which if you scroll down a little on this page, will look like this below:

You can then drag and drop your files into the website and add in a title and message into the file box. Your title should either be your name and/or your order number. You can then add an additional message if you wish. The email address which it needs to be sent to is automatically added to this so please do not change this! Once the information is all included, you can then click ‘Transfer’ and the files will be sent to us. A member of the team will then be in touch with any further information that we may need from you.

As we have highlighted before, please add 3mm onto each side of the page for ‘bleed’. All text and information should be set at least 5mm from the trimmed edge of the page. Please allow 12mm along the centre of the page for binding on a booklet or double page calendar and 12mm along the top of the page for the binding for wall and desktop calendars.

Please format your images to CMYK coated Fogra39 profile at 300dpi. If your images are not formatted to CMYK, out pre flight software will do this automatically for you converting the image from your colour space to the correct CMYK profile before printing. As we always say, please order a printed proof if colour is a big part of your work so that you can check that you are happy with everything!
